The Standing Stone Project is a school-based activity for children in key stage two which uses the practice of process drama to introduce and develop understandings about prehistory. Through the medium of story and performance it engages children in enquiries about life in the Bronze Age. Full details of the development of the Project are contained in this article. Teachers who would like to use the activity are welcome to download resources from this site. The resources include:
- The script for the process drama, including prompts for performance elements;
- A PowerPoint file with images to accompany the story;
- Images of a Bronze Age village for printing.
